MarioWhat franchises will be in the Smash movie?
Ah, so it's a trilogy of movies, with the first movie fleshing out the Original 12 the most. I'm glad to hear that, because I was worried there would be a character bloat for this.Mario
Zelda
Pokémon
Star Fox
F-Zero
Mother (aka Earth Bound)
Kirby
Basically the ones featured in the first Smash Bros game.
Melee will be the title for part two, and Brawl will be part three.
What about the Donkey Kong, Yoshi, and Metroid franchises?Mario
Zelda
Pokémon
Star Fox
F-Zero
Mother (aka Earth Bound)
Kirby
Basically the ones featured in the first Smash Bros game.
Melee will be the title for part two, and Brawl will be part three.
Technically, the former two can count as part of the Mario franchise, but you're right about the third omission. Nevertheless, I do want to see as many of the Original 12 as possible. What about the Donkey Kong, Yoshi, and Metroid franchises?
It wouldn't happen to have been a Railway Series book, would it?She was recently featured reading a book to her now 3-year old son Lex in a commercial to promote the NHL's "Hat Trick" literacy program, which is a special edition of Pizza Hut's "Book It" where kids 13 and under get a free personal pan pizza every three books you read.
Nice post, but did you have permission?Oaxis Takes the Lead: CBS Discovery's Family Channel Sees Soaring Ratings - Variety, June 23, 2009
In a surprising turn of events, CBS Discovery's rebranding of its popular Discovery Kids channel as Oaxis on January 1, 2009, has proved to be a resounding success. The revamped channel has experienced a remarkable surge in ratings, surpassing competitors such as USA Cartoon Express and The Disney Channel. Oaxis has swiftly emerged as a dominant force in the family entertainment realm, capturing the attention and loyalty of young viewers across the nation.
Oaxis owes its newfound success to a combination of compelling programming and strategic scheduling. The channel currently boasts a diverse lineup that includes both timeless classics and contemporary favorites from CBS Discovery's Columbia-Tristar library. Viewers can indulge in reruns of beloved shows like "Theo and Gretchen," "Batman," and "The Transformers," as well as more recent hits like "Pokemon" and "Teen Titans." Furthermore, Oaxis continues to captivate its audience with new episodes of "Viva Pinata," which made the move to Discovery Kids from CBS in 2008.
Exciting times lie ahead for Oaxis, as the network is gearing up to unveil a slate of original series designed to captivate audiences during primetime. Among the highly anticipated shows is a revival of the beloved classic "Gidget," sure to delight viewers of all ages. Accompanying this revival is an original series from renowned creator Steve Marmel, titled "Sonny with a Chance." To further enhance its programming lineup, Oaxis has secured the rights to air the iconic Three Stooges shorts through a partnership with C3 Entertainment.
Remarkably, Oaxis's remarkable growth persists despite recent controversies within CBS Discovery. In particular, a highly publicized feud between vice president Amy Pascal and "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" creator Blanche Boudreaux resulted in Boudreaux's departure from CBS Discovery's Nelvana animation studio. Subsequently, Pascal has been relieved of her duties, making way for Geoff Jones to assume her former position. This restructuring indicates the network's commitment to maintaining a positive and inclusive environment, focusing on delivering outstanding content to its audience.
Buoyed by its increasing popularity, Oaxis now sets its sights on its next targets: the Jim Henson Company's Nickelodeon and TBS Paramount's Cartoon Network, currently holding the top two spots among children's channels. The ambition within CBS Discovery is palpable, with Columbia-Tristar chairman Michael Uslan expressing confidence that Oaxis has what it takes to challenge the existing leaders. Uslan believes that the channel's successful rebranding and consistent rise in ratings will position it favorably to capture a significant portion of the children's programming market.
Uslan shared his excitement about Oaxis's rebranding and its ongoing success, stating, "The transformation of Discovery Kids into Oaxis has been nothing short of remarkable. We are thrilled to see the audience response and the growing numbers. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, as well as the loyalty of our viewers. With our exceptional lineup of classic favorites and exciting original content, Oaxis is poised to redefine the landscape of family entertainment."
As Oaxis continues to charm young audiences with its engaging programming and innovative approach, it appears that CBS Discovery has found a winning formula. With its newfound momentum and a clear vision for the future, Oaxis is well on its way to becoming a household name in the realm of children's entertainment, challenging industry giants and captivating viewers with its compelling content.

I don't recall the Smash games having much of a storyline, but anything you guys suggest would be pretty nice.I know you maybe haven't, but if you have, I'm intrigued about what the plot would be if you have any ideas in mind
Let's have the first Smash movie be about the Original 12 meeting each other and beating Master Hand, the second movie could be about Mario and Link establishing a team with both veterans and newcomers alike against both Master and Crazy Hand, while the third movie is just an adaptation of The Subspace Emissary story mode.I don't recall the Smash games having much of a storyline, but anything you guys suggest would be pretty nice.

Rhein Fire Portland Breakers
As soon as the Rhein Fire and Portland Breakers advanced to the World Bowl, Fox immediately pivoted their World Bowl marketing strategy to emphasize "Fire vs. Water."
Ageless wonder and CFL veteran Anthony Calvillo served as the Breakers' field general while the Rhein Fire went with fourth-year gunslinger Timmy Chang as their starter. Ultimately, it was Calvillo who proved he could still throw touchdown darts at age 36. The Breakers would go on to douse the Fire in a 41 to 28 rout, giving Portland its first ever World Bowl trophy.

Phoenix Roadrunners Florida Panthers
It was South Beach vs. the Valley of the Sun. Former Mighty Duck Paul Kariya led the Florida Panthers while the Roadrunners boasted the dynamic duo of former Ottawa Senator Daniel Alfredsson and former Silver Knight Shane Doan. It was a hard-fought Game 6, with both teams tied at 4 in the closing seconds of regulation. After a late Panther penalty put the Roadrunners in the Power Play, Doan and Alfredsson collaborated on the one-timer that won the Turner Cup for Phoenix on their home ice.

Well, that's good, but unless they put up a REAL good fight, then they will probably NEVER beat those two.Remarkably, Oaxis's remarkable growth persists despite recent controversies within CBS Discovery. Well, it was nice.I just made something to tie in, and thought it was neat. OldNavy doesn't have to canonize it if he doesn't have to. I'm not saying this IS an event that happened even if it didn't yet, unlike someone else earlier... I was just going off of existing information. The only thing I added to the ChatGPT prompt was Oaxis's ambitions to go past Nick and CN, which given both the competitive nature of capitalism and the rapid growth of Oaxis, does seem like something they'd at least attempt.
Yeah.....It's probably dead, and if it's not, then it's about to be.......What’s Toonami’s current lineup? If it still has one?
